I am an Indian contemporary Artist and Research Scholar. Presently pursuing a Doctorate in Visual Art (Thesis submitted, 2016-21) from the Wuhan University of Technology .I successfully completed Advanced Research (2010-12) in “New Media Art and Chinese Traditional Art” from China Academy of Art, Hangzhou sponsored by Chinese Government. There, I emphasized on how one can be inspired by tradition and how can be given a new direction to art through new experiments. I completed M.F.A (Painting) and B.F.A (Painting) from the College of Art, New Delhi, India. As an Artists and Scholar, I received numerous prestigious National and International Awards, Fellowships, and Residencies during my academic and professional practice.
I also have 8 years teaching experience as a Visiting Assistant Professor, practical subject gained from working at a College of Art, New Delhi. I have taught the arts from elementary level (foundation, B.F.A.) to the stage of final year. Even during the doctoral degree, I also taught (Part-Time Job) International and Chinese students to appreciate art and helped them to gain confidence in creating their own works.
