Self-introduction:
Earning my first bachelor’s degree in May of 2016 at a very young, 59 years of age, accumulating enough credit hours for
at least three bachelor degrees over a seventeen year period, studying at a number of colleges and universities, including a
one-year internship at National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), learning foreign languages since the age
of four, during ten years living in Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala, and Germany; a successful fifteen year, high-tech
career in Silicon Valley, CA, followed by a ten-year “spiritual walkabout”, including four years living in Mexico and
Guatemala giving Filipino martial arts lessons, guitar lessons, personal and small business computer support and training,
managing hostels, and playing jazz and bass guitar until returning to the US in 2012 to obtain a bachelor’s degree to
become a qualified English teacher; I am not your typical English teacher.
